Getting Big

Lawson is growing like a weed. We go for a 4 month checkup in about 2 weeks. I'm very curious about how much he has grown! Two weeks ago he was a heavy 16 lbs.

Short Getaway

Sometimes we have easy decisions. Sometimes we make easy decisions into hard decisions... or I do. BUT not this time. Shad wanted to do something and he tossed up the idea of Birmingham, New Orleans, Atlanta, or the beach. I knew that shopping would be high on the list if we did B-ham, NOLA, or the ATL, and honestly, I'm really not in the mood... PLUS, shopping in the winter really isn't all that fun with a four month old. So we decided fairly quickly that a relaxing weekend at the beach was for us....even in January.

This was Lawson's first time in the Mobile tunnel. I HATE the tunnel, but he really didn't care.

It was totally beautiful... and we can't wait to go back in June.

Christmas #2

Every Christmas Eve we ALWAYS have Christmas at my grandmother's house! We have finger food galore, and we open presents...it's always fun and crazy. This year we had a few new ones...Gracie, Harper, and Lawson.

Here is cousin Harper...She is three months older that Lawson, and SUCH a doll!

We woke up to a WHITE Christmas...it's was such a surprise and BEAUTIFUL. It was the first white Christmas in Tupelo in sixty something years....so special for Lawson's first. Santa did come!

Sorry, about being a little M.I.A. lately. I went back to work on December 6th, and as you can guess, my nights and weekends only consisted of loving this little boy. It hasn't been too bad at work...you can ask me again in January when Christmas break is over and Lawson starts daycare... I'm thankful for Shad's mom and grandma who came down to stay with us for the past two weeks which allowed me to go to work knowing that Lawson was being taken care of with love. Hopefully, this has gotten my feet wet so when January 3rd comes I won't have a complete melt down and quit my job. Please start praying for me now.... I need strength to hand him to a stranger, turn my back, walk away, get into my car and drive off. I hope I am strong enough. As of now, I'm not...tears are rolling down my face.
